Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said Friday that RB Adrian Peterson is being held out of practice for precautionary reasons and that he expects Peterson to start on Monday vs. Chicago. Peterson’s been dealing with ankle and knee tweaks this week and not taking on contact in practice. He’ll play behind a banged-up O-line alongside rookie QB Joe Webb in a very cold home game at TCF Bank Field, an open-air stadium in Minneapolis, on Monday night against a Bears defense that has limited opposing running backs to an average of just 14.1 Fantasy points this season.
