Colts WR Austin Collie traveled back from Philadelphia with the team after Sunday’s game with the Eagles. Collie was alert and active in the locker room after being knocked unconscious as he attempted to catch a second quarter pass from Peyton Manning. Collie is expected to undergo neurological and neuropsychological testing Monday or Tuesday. Team medical personnel want to monitor his progress after he sustained what was described as a “severe concussion.” “After he went in the locker room, he was able to sit up, alert, carry on a conversation,” coach Jim Caldwell said of Collie via the Indianapolis Star. “Obviously the doctors felt good enough about his situation to allow him to travel back with us on the airplane. I think that’s a pretty good indication that things were trending in the right direction. … He’s doing fine and his symptoms are subsiding.” Source: cbssports.com
