According to the Detroit Lions Louis Delmas underwent surgery on his left knww.

Delmas was not at practice Wednesday and hasn’t practiced for most of the past 10 days because of what the team said was knee soreness.

The team didn’t specify the nature or severity of the surgery but said it was performed by Dr. James Andrews.

The team said the four-year veteran had surgery to “assist in his recovery from knee soreness he developed early in camp.”

While it doesn’t seem to be too severe, this is not great news for the Lions. Having one of your star players dealing with a knee injury all year could cause them problems.
