Driver (Quadriceps) will not play Sunday against the Cowboys, Bill Michaels of AM 620 WTMJ Milwaukee reports.  Looks like the Packers are going to play it safe with Driver and keep him out this week leading up to their bye in week 10.  Look for James Jones and Jordy Nelson to get time in Drivers spot.

uhmm.. so I can grab Malcolm Floyd from the waivers right now, and the only player i’m willing to drop for him would be Donald Driver, and since Driver is banged up and stuff, although i love Driver, I dont know if i should drop him or not for later when he does get get better.. any advice? OH, and i have a bye week this week, i’m just getting ready for next week.

Thank you for the advice, unfortunately, I already have a hit or miss WR in Mike Wallace…still roll with Jones? Also for consideration, I’m starting both Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones as my RBs…whatcha think?

    • FFR Squad says:

We would roll the dice on Jones and Wallace, one of them will probably connect on a deep one. Jones and Charles should be a solid combination this week against a terrible Oakland run defense, look for them to get around 30-35 carries.

  5. Rob says:

Who is more likely to make a bigger impact as the #2 WR, Nelson or Jones? And would you start either of them over Michael Bush or Justin Forsett in my flex position?

    • FFR Squad says:

We would expect that Jones would make more of an impact than Nelson. Nelson is more of the possession type, while Jones is more of the home run threat. We think they will both see a lot of action with Driver out this week. Bush would be the safest play out of that whole group, and Jones would be the high risk high reward play. We’d gamble and put Jones in our lineup.
