Patriots guard Logan Mankins has ended his holdout today. Mankins will sign his restricted free agent contract worth $1.54 million.  He was originally offered $3.26 million, but decided to holdout instead.  Now he will only receive a prorated salary for the remaining 9 games of the season.

“Logan came in, I met with him this morning, and it’s good to have him back on the team,” Belichick said. “He’s been a great player and person for our football team. He’s tough. He’s smart. You just can’t have too many guys like that on your football team. We’re glad he’s back.”
