During the third quarter of Friday’s 28-20 loss to the Green Packers, we witnessed top rookie RB, Ryan Williams get carted off the field after a big hit.  This was his first carry of the game.  Ryan Williams will be out the rest of the season due to a ruptured patella tendon.  So, many owners are kind of in a pickle, you drafted this guy in hope’s he’d be a sleeper, but now is done for the year.  Here are some solid replacements:

Delone Carter – Indianapolis Colts

With the re-signing of Joseph Addai, Carter loses some value, but keep in mind, Mike Hart is gone and Donald Brown has never really panned out.  Also, Addai is injury prone, which is what we saw a lot of last year.  We consider Delone a deep sleeper, but could help you’re team a lot as he is expected to get the majority of the goal line carries.

Javon Ringer – Tennessee Titans

Who knows how long with Chris Johnson hold-out is going to last? 2 games? 5 games? No hold-out at all? We’ll see, but at this moment, it looks like Javon Ringer will be starting pending a CJ1.3K (formally known as CJ2K) re-signing.  Also, even when Chris Johnson comes back (if he does), Ringer should see a lot of goal line work.  If Johnson is re-signed before the start of the season, expect 420 rushing yards with 4 TD’s from Ringer.

Beanie Wells – Arizona Cardinals

Since this news is a few days old, Beanie Wells has been picked up by multiple teams.  As of right now, he is owned b 63% of Yahoo! Leagues.  If he is still available in your league, pick this guy up!  He has used phrases such as, “this is my time”, to describe his upcoming NFL season.  If Beanie Wells remains the starter all year expect 870 rushing yards and 6 TD’s.  A solid RB2 or bench guy.
