The Titans were hit with sad news Wednesday when they discovered Offensive Coordinator Mike Heimerdinger has cancer.  Heimerdinger is expected to start chemotherapy as soon as possible.  Jeff Fisher (Head Coach of the Tennessee Titans) announced that Heimerdinger had been sick for the past three weeks but they had just received the diagnosis now.  Fisher declined to state what kind of cancer it was.  Jeff Fisher said, “Mike is going to be, potentially as early as today, undergoing chemotherapy for cancer treatment.” He continued to say, “I don’t know whether Mike will be back tomorrow, whether he’ll be here Friday or Saturday or whether or not he’ll be able to participate in coaching this game. I want you all to pray for Mike, like we have been doing all morning.”  This has been a tough week for the Titans losing starting QB Vince Young to a thumb injury and now their Offensive Coordinator has been diagnosed with cancer. QB/Passing Game Coach, Dowell Loggains will replace Heimerdinger.  The Titans visit the Houston Texans this week, they enter with a 3 game losing streak.
